Certified use only!
In the interest of protecting our wildlife, the law surrounding the use of rodenticides has changed. You must now have certification to buy rodenticide supplied in anything other than specifically manufactured amateur use quantity packs. Therefore if you wish to purchase Rodent poison in any other quantites we must by Law be provided with a CRRU Professional use certificate before we can dispatch the product. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy of your certification.
For the same strength professional-grade product please click here to see our other listings that are available without certification.
If you do not have a certificate, but believe you are a certified user please fill out Document 2: For certified users, or instead Document 3: For farm assurance schemes if you are a member of a CRRU Aligned Farm Assurance Scheme, and email us as stated above.
You may do this before or after you purchase, but please be aware that we cannot by law dispatch your order until we are in receipt of your certification.
For more information, please see the Official CRRU UK code of best practice or call us at 01524 741229 to discuss this further.

Vertox Pasta Bait
Vertox Pasta Bait is a ready-for-use bait formulated using a blend of high quality culinary grade wheat flour, chopped grain, soft lard and synthetic peanut flavouring to produce a high calorie, high energy feed. The use of synthetic peanut flavourings allows the product to be used in sensitive situations where products containing nuts would not be authorised for use.
Taste adjuvants and flavours help to improve bait ‘take’, and stabilising agents prevent oxidation.
Vertox Pasta Bait is extremely palatable and effective against all pest rodents. Its high energy content makes it the preferred formulation in cold situations, or where rodents have declined to accept other baits.
Vertox Excel Bait Block
Vertox Excel Blocks are a ready-for-use extruded wax block bait formulated using high quality culinary grade wheat flour, blended with chopped wheat, other cereals and proteins which are bound together by edible waxes.
Vertox Excel Blocks contain an aroma, giving a unique chocolatey smell. The addition of other food grade materials improves palatability ensuring good bait ‘take’, and bio-stats are incorporated to inhibit the growth of both fungi and bacteria should the block be exposed to damp conditions.
Excel blocks are manufactured by an extrusion process with the blocks cut to size. This process, common to all extruded blocks, makes them less tolerant to humidity and hence less suitable for use outdoors and in sewers where they may be exposed to damp conditions.
Vertox Excel Blocks are palatable to both rats and mice and have a hole through the centre that allows the blocks to be securely anchored in a bait station.
Directions for Use
Place bait where there are signs of rodent activity, like fresh droppings, inside or near nestes and burrows, runways and rodent feeding places. Place bait points thoughout the infested area. Regularly check bait consumption and replace consumed or spoiled bait until consumption has stopped. Repeat treatment in situations where there is evidence of new infestation.
|Rats||Secure 1-4 sachet/block in covered tamper resistant baiting stations or covered bait points spaced 10m apart (5m apart for areas of high infestation) in areas where rats are active. Do not move or disturb bait points for several days after laying bait. If no signs of rat activity are seen near the bait after 7-10 days, move the bait to an area of high activty|
|Mice||Secure 1 sachet/block in covered tamper resistant baiting stations or covered bait points spaced 5m apart (2m apart for areas of high infestation) in areas where mice are active. Mice are very inquisitive and it may help the control program to move bait points every 2-3 days at the time when bait points are inspected or topped up|
